Active citizens fund – "Music Therapy Project for Children with Special Educational Needs"

The project "Music Therapy Project for Children with Special Educational Needs" is implemented within the framework of the Active citizens fund program, with Imagine Heritage as the implementing body and Culture Break Borders and the Cerebral Palsy Greece/ Open Door.


The Active citizens fund program, amounting to €15 million, is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway and is part of the European Economic Area (EEA) financial mechanism for the period 2014 – 2021, known as EEA Grants. The program aims to strengthen the sustainability of civil society and to highlight its role in promoting democratic processes, strengthening citizens' participation in society, and defending human rights. The management of the grant of the Active citizens fund program for Greece has been jointly undertaken by the Bodosaki Foundation and SolidarityNow.



EEA Grants: It is the name of the Financial Mechanism of the EEA in Greece and 14 other countries in central and eastern Europe.

 

Active citizens fund: It is the name of the EEA Grants program that finances projects to strengthen Civil Society, in Greece and 14 countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
